    Frequently Asked Questions

How old are Spanish Trail bathrooms?

Spanish Trail has been established since the mid-1980s, which makes it one of the older guard-gated communities in the valley and puts most of its original bathrooms well past the point where the first enclosure was going to last. What we usually find is a framed door where the aluminium has corroded at the base, the track no longer drains, and the seals have hardened. The openings themselves are often generous for their era, which means frameless tends to look right without needing oversized panels or half-inch glass.

Do you handle gate access at Spanish Trail?

You will need to put us on the visitor list, since Spanish Trail is guard-gated with staffed entry. Do that for both the measure and the installation day, and tell the gate to expect a work van rather than a car, because we arrive carrying glass and cannot leave it at the entrance. If the association keeps contractor insurance certificates on file, tell us when you book and we will send ours in advance. Access aside, nothing about working inside a gated community changes the fabrication or the installation.

Should I repair or replace an original Spanish Trail enclosure?

It depends entirely on how many things have failed. A single worn part on an otherwise sound door, a perished sweep, a loose hinge, one failed roller, is a genuine repair, it is inexpensive, and we would rather do that than sell you an enclosure you do not need. But on a door of this age the failures usually arrive together, and once the frame is corroding as well as the rollers wearing and the seals leaking, repair costs approach replacement while leaving you with a forty-year-old door.
