Frequently Asked Questions
What does a shower door actually cost in Las Vegas?
Our custom work starts at fifty dollars per square foot with installation included rather than added on. Where a given enclosure lands is driven by four things in roughly this order: the size of the opening, the glass thickness, the configuration, and the hardware finish. A straight alcove door in three-eighths glass with stocked chrome hardware sits at the bottom of the range. A large corner or neo-angle enclosure in half-inch low-iron glass with a specialty finish sits well above it. Semi-frameless comes in twenty to thirty percent below a comparable frameless enclosure. The free measure takes thirty minutes and turns that range into one number for your bathroom.
Why can't you quote over the phone?
Because the opening decides the price and we cannot see it down a phone line. Two bathrooms with the same nominal shower size can need very different glass: one is square and one is out by half an inch over seven feet, one has framing that will carry a heavy frameless panel and one does not, one has a pan that drains properly and one needs a semi-frameless channel to compensate. A phone figure that gets revised on the doorstep is worse than no figure at all, and it is the thing people most often tell us they resent about other quotes. The measure is free and takes about thirty minutes.
Does the price include removing my old shower door?
Yes. Removal and disposal of your existing enclosure is part of the job, not a line item added afterwards, and you are not left with an old aluminium frame in the driveway. Removal is done carefully rather than quickly, because levering an old frame out of hardened sealant is exactly how tile gets chipped and the tile is usually the expensive part. What is not included, and what we will show you rather than quietly absorb, is remedial work the opening turns out to need once the old frame is off: failed grout or a damaged pan edge that the frame was hiding.
Which upgrades are actually worth paying for?
Two, in most bathrooms. Half-inch glass instead of three-eighths is worth it when the geometry asks for it, meaning wide door leaves or panels reaching toward a nine or ten foot ceiling, where thinner glass flexes enough to lift the seals at the top of a swing. In a standard-height alcove it is money spent on weight you cannot see. Low-iron glass is the other one: ordinary clear glass carries a faint green cast that is genuinely visible in a thick panel against pale stone or white tile, and low-iron removes it. Specialty hardware finishes are a preference rather than a performance upgrade, and we will say so.
Do you offer financing?
We offer payment options that spread the cost across months rather than requiring the whole amount at once, and the place to raise it is at the measure, when the figure is real and you can see what the monthly position would look like. A custom enclosure is a considered purchase rather than an impulse one, and for many people the question is not whether the price is fair but whether it lands in one month or several. Ask when you book, or ask the installer at the measure. Our financing page sets out what is currently available in more detail.
