Everything between the first phone call and a working enclosure, as one scope rather than a series of separate charges. That means the in-home consultation and laser measurement, the custom fabrication of every panel to your opening, removal and disposal of your existing enclosure, the installation itself, all hardware and seals, and the final sealing and clean-up. What is not included, and what we will flag rather than absorb quietly, is remedial work the opening turns out to need: failed grout, a damaged pan edge, or wall framing that will not carry a heavy frameless panel. Those are occasionally revealed only when an old frame comes off. We will show you before continuing rather than sealing new glass over a problem that will resurface as a leak.

Our custom work starts at fifty dollars per square foot, with installation included in that rather than added to it. Where a given enclosure lands depends on the size of the opening, the glass thickness, the configuration and the hardware finish, roughly in that order of impact. A straight alcove door in 3/8 inch glass with chrome hardware sits at the bottom of the range; a large corner or neo-angle enclosure in 1/2 inch glass with a specialty finish sits well above it. Yes, and we can provide documentation before work starts. It is a reasonable question to ask any contractor working in your home, and it carries specific weight in glass work. A half-inch tempered panel is heavy and awkward, and moving one through a finished house is where damage happens if it is done carelessly, so liability cover is not an abstraction here. Beyond insurance, shower glazing is governed by real safety standards rather than preference: glass in a bathing area must be safety glazing under CPSC 16 CFR 1201 and ANSI Z97.1, which in practice means fully tempered. We fabricate and install to those requirements as a matter of course, and we will tell you when a detail somebody has proposed does not meet them.

Installation work carries a workmanship warranty, and it is worth separating from the other two kinds of cover people tend to merge with it. Workmanship covers how the enclosure was fitted: alignment, sealing, and anything traceable to the installation itself. That is the cover we control, and it is meaningful precisely because our own crew does the work rather than a subcontractor. Separately, premium hardware carries its manufacturer's warranty against hinges, handles and rollers failing in normal use, and the tempered glass carries its manufacturer's cover against defects in the material, which is distinct from impact damage. Clear the bathroom of toiletries, towels and anything on the floor, and give us a clear path from the front door to the room, since a half-inch tempered panel is heavy and awkward to carry around obstacles. If you have an existing enclosure, leave it in place; removing it is part of the job and doing it yourself can damage the tile we then have to work against. Do not re-caulk or patch the opening in advance, because we need to see what is actually there and any fresh sealant simply gets cut away. If tile or a shower pan is being replaced as part of a wider renovation, that work must be finished and cured before we measure, not before we install.

Yes, and it is the normal case rather than the exception. Very few Las Vegas bathrooms are truly plumb and square, particularly in tract construction, where a wall being out by a quarter of an inch over seven feet is entirely ordinary. This is precisely why custom fabrication exists. We laser-measure the opening and record the actual deviation rather than an assumed rectangle, and the glass is then cut to that shape, with hardware selected to take up whatever tolerance remains. A stock enclosure bought off a shelf cannot do this, which is why it leaves a tapering gap down one side. What we do need to know is whether the walls are structurally sound behind the tile, since heavy frameless panels need something real to anchor into.
