Frameless shower doors start at fifty dollars per square foot for a standard installation, and the final figure comes down to the size of the opening, whether you choose 3/8 or 1/2 inch glass, the hardware finish and how complex the configuration is. Henderson has a wide spread of housing stock, and that shows up in pricing: an alcove door in a Green Valley home built in the 1990s is a very different quantity of glass from a corner enclosure in a newer Inspirada or Anthem master bathroom. Semi-frameless comes in 20 to 30 percent below a comparable frameless enclosure if the budget matters more than the last degree of the look. Fourteen to twenty days from your free in-home measure to the finished enclosure, with the installation appointment itself taking two to four hours. The measure takes about thirty minutes, and the rest is fabrication in our own shop rather than waiting on an order from elsewhere. That distinction matters: because we cut, polish, drill and temper the glass ourselves, the schedule is ours to manage rather than a supplier's. Older Henderson bathrooms in Green Valley and MacDonald Ranch often need the longer end of that window, because replacing an original 1990s framed enclosure means the substrate underneath has to be cleaned back properly before new glass is sealed against it, and occasionally reveals grout or pan edge that should be dealt with first.

We fabricate in 3/8 inch (10mm) and 1/2 inch (12mm) tempered safety glass. Three-eighths is the standard choice and the right one for most Henderson bathrooms: rigid enough to hang from hinges without flexing, and sensible on both glass and hardware cost. Half-inch is worth it where the geometry asks for it, which in Henderson usually means the larger master bathrooms in Anthem, Seven Hills and Inspirada, where panels reach toward nine or ten foot ceilings and the extra rigidity stops a tall door feeling springy. It is considerably heavier, so it needs heavier hinges and sound framing behind the tile, which we verify before quoting. Both thicknesses are fully tempered, meeting the safety glazing requirement that applies in any bathing area.

Henderson installations carry exactly the same cover as everywhere else we work, and it comes in three parts that are worth separating. Our installation work carries a workmanship warranty covering how the enclosure was fitted: alignment, sealing and anything traceable to the installation itself. Premium hardware carries the manufacturer's warranty against hinges, handles and rollers failing in normal use. The tempered glass carries its manufacturer's cover against defects in the material, which is a different thing from impact damage. Yes, and across Green Valley and the older Henderson neighbourhoods it is most of what we do. Housing from the 1980s and 1990s has largely reached the point where the original framed enclosure has failed in several ways at once: the aluminium frame corroded where it sat in water, the bottom track stopped draining, the rollers wore and the seals went hard. Replacing it removes all of those at once. We take the old enclosure away as part of the job, and we cut the sealant and release the frame rather than levering it, because levering an old frame out of hardened sealant is exactly how tile gets chipped. If removal reveals failed grout or damaged pan edge underneath, we will show you before sealing new glass over it.
